| Growing up in Sunnydale, with friends Xander and Jesse, Willow was mostly picked on and teased by the "cool kids," including a rich girl named Cordelia Chase. Willow did her best to ignore the taunts, and was known for her focus on her academics, often tutoring her friends and others who needed help. A meek girl, she only started to gain real confidence when a young blonde girl named Buffy Summers transferred to Sunnydale High in their Sophomore year. From Buffy she learned about the presence of vampires, demons, Slayers, and Watchers, and resolved to help Buffy in her fight against evil. Choosing to stay at home rather than go to college abroad, Willow joined Buffy at UC Sunnydale, where, in addition to all her coursework, she began to experiment and explore magic in all forms, having dabbled in magic beginning with her junior year of high school. | Disclaimer:I am not Willow Rosenberg.
